Customer Reviews PlayStation 3 500GB Assassin's Creed III Bundle Sony did exactly what should be done to update a product, they looked at the biggest issues - 1.) The previous console had a tendency to overheat and 2.) If id did overheat, it was impossible to get your game out before sending it in for repair. To counter these problems they - 1.) Made a lighter, smaller, more efficient system and 2.) Made a spring operated release for the disc drive. After the obvious fixes, they outfitted it with a massive hard drive (500 GB) and bundled it with one of the most anticipated games of the year. All this for a reasonable price. What more could you ask for? The console is amazing, much better (in my opinion) than the slim. It runs AC3 flawlessly and is whisper quiet. I would highly recommend this bundle as a first time buy or an upgrade. It is without a doubt worth every penny.

Playstation 3 320GB HW Bundle - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Had my Playstation 3 40 GB for more than 4 1/2 year and it still works like a charm this very day, but always hated when I had to delete something just to fit something new in. I decided to get the new slim model, I was gonna get the uncharted model but then the MW3 was announced and I swore I would never buy a COD again but this deal was too good to pass up cause you practically get the game free. PS3 Slim A very nice upgrade from my fat model, I like the nice matte finish than the traditional glossy for both the casing and the controller it feel nice and just looks great aswell. I though it would be hard to transfer everything I had on my 40 GB to the new system but it was actually very simple and didn't take that long to get it setup to how I had my 40. The 320 GB it comes with is worry free, don't have to worry about running out of room anytime soon. I could not be happier with my slim model MW3 A actually nice game so far, only played acouple of hours and can't complain for a game that was pretty much free to me lol. Game is nice, survival is probably my favorite part of the game but the other stuff is not too shabby either. OVERALL No regrets with my purchase, a nice upgrade from my fat model and runs smoothly even after long hours of play. Definate a five star, if you looking for a new PS3 and are in the need of a MW3 game then this is the console for you

Well this is my first PS3 . It's funny because I haven't even unwrapped the Call of duty. I use the PS3 mostly for Netflix and Amazon which work Flawlessly . The only App that isn't doing good is the youtube( not native) which in my opinion is roughly Beta. I also use the PS3 as a Bluray player, I have the PS3 BD remote which not only control the PS3 native features but also Amazon Prime instant videos and Netflix streaming . I am having so much fun that I might also forget to unwrapped the Grand Tourismo that I bought with it. The PS3 definitely is more than just a video game. Maybe I should have just bought the base system.

PlayStation 3 160GB System

This is my second playstation 3. I bought my first PS3 to use as a gaming machine, but eventually realized it was more than just a gaming device. Among other things, it is also a Blu-ray player, and a very good one at that. Movies can be controlled with the PS3 game controller, but I bought Sony's hand held remote, which is more like the remotes that come with a TV. As a blu-ray player, it functions just like a dedicated blu-ray device, not like a multi-purpose afterthought. In addition, if you are wired for the internet, it acts like a TV or computer, and streams Netflix movies, Hulu programs, and music, assuming you subscribe to these features. It does more, too. I've poked around on the PS3 menus, but haven't explored all the features available. There is a lot there, however. These other capabilities are also available on a computer, but I thought Netflix streaming was actually more convenient on the PS3.

I use my PS3 for watching movies about 3/4 of the time, and gaming for the rest. Basically, I'm getting a blu-ray player and a gaming machine for $250. In fact, I see no reason to buy a dedicated blu-ray player for my home theater; So that makes my gaming device seem like a better deal. Game quality varies from game to game. Some new games seem to be much farther along on the cutting edge of technology with better graphics and more realistic environments.
